Ever After Events
is the event coordinating company for the creative bride who already knows what she wants but needs some help to bring her vision to fruition. Shereen Briere Shariq's specialty is streamlining what often feels like an impossible task, creating and organizing a wedding, and turning the process into something manageable, enjoyable and memorable for all involved. There are many pieces to the wedding puzzle and she loves putting them all together to create a picture perfect wedding day for her brides and grooms.
On the wedding day you'll notice she's there to help with anything and everything when you need her and unobtrusive when you don’t. If someone needs to intercede on your behalf to make the day run smoothly (because sometimes a firm hand is needed)… she asks her clients to please let her be the one to take care of any stressful situations. Shereen believes on the wedding day a bride's only responsibility is to enjoy herself!
One of her favorite wedding moments is when she fluffs the train of the wedding gown and straightens her bride's veil just as she is about to walk down the aisle. Shereen feels it is truly an honor to be a part of such a special moment in her client's lives.
Before the wedding some of the services she provides include creating a budget and timeline, reviewing contracts, providing referrals to her brides who are still looking for just the right professionals to hire and even directing the rehearsal dinner, leaving her clients free to enjoy the experience of being engaged without all of those pesky details that often cause confusion and complicate the planning process.
Her career in event planning began in high school when she became the chairperson of the prom committee, overseeing all aspects of producing a great event from beginning to end. It was then that she discovered her calling. Though she possessed a natural talent for planning and organization and has worked in the corporate event planning industry for over 8 years, she realized to truly call herself a professional wedding coordinator, she would need to hone her abilities to serve her clients best interests.
She joined Ann Nola's prestigious Association for Certified Professional Wedding Consultants to begin her formal training to become a professional wedding consultant. By continuing to attend regular meetings as well as event industry conferences she is always up to date on the latest trends. Shereen continues to make meeting new vendors a priority so that she always knows exactly who will be the right match for each of her clients. She feels the ACPWC is a tremendous asset in allowing her to be the most effective consultant she can be; helping brides and grooms with confidence, dedication and passion.
